Meet the Masters
Arroyo's amazing Meet-the-masters instructor, Mrs. Peters, is also an arroyo parent! We are so lucky to have her!
Mrs. Hatfield's class created andy warhol's iconic campbell soup art.
The Meet the Masters experience begins with a multi-media assembly where the children are introduced to the fascinating lives and famous works of Master Artists and their relevancy in the world. Back in the classroom, the students have self-guided time to practice technique with a worksheet to reinforce the material presented, further preparing them for success in the final step—the art project.
Here is where the classroom transforms into an art studio as our accredited Art Teacher, Melissa Peters, leads the students on a step-by-step journey through the art project. Often in the same medium, style or subject matter as the Master, the students will discover their creativity while developing confidence in their own unique abilities.
Our Meet the Masters art program wouldn't be a success without the passion and diligence of our parent coordinators, Noel Vogt and Jim Brink! Thank you!
