We had such a fun Poetry Club in the library this week! Principal Sheyka led the students in a celebration of their SNOW-ETRY - they wrote and shared poems about winter, snow and snowflakes. Kids wrote some terrific poems, and the best part was that they were SO excited to share them with the group. After sharing their poems, kids made their own unique snowflakes, and then students' poems and snowflakes were hung on our Poet-Tree. Thank you Principal Sheyka for leading lunch club this week - what a treat for our kiddos!!

Our next Library Lunch Bunch is Brown Bag Book Club on Friday, February 16th. The featured book is The Antlered Ship (by Dashka Slater) - a beautifully illustrated story with themes of friendship and curiosity. Tickets will be available in the library at the beginning of February. The book can be found at our school library, on Amazon, or at Once Upon a Storybook in Tustin. Or, you can find a terrific read aloud of this book on You Tube.

Remember, anyone can participate in any of our Library Lunch Bunch clubs, as long as they take a ticket and bring it with them completed on the day of the club meeting.
