The Mustang Makerspace welcomed families for its first Family Night on April 20, 2017. In celebration of Earth Day, parents and students were able to choose from a diverse menu of fun challenges which embraced the idea of being green and upcycling. Some of the challenges included: coding with Dash and Dot, designing a windmill, Keva Planks, and a cardboard challenge inspired by Caine's Arcade:

Students have been visiting the Makerspace each week and familiarizing themselves with the creative lab and its many resources. The Makerspace is also home to a new 3D printer! Don't forget that the Makerspace is always accepting donations.
